With the absence of government licensing of locksmiths, The Master Locksmiths Association (MLA), a not for profit organisation established to promote the level of skills and ethics within the industry, has established its own licensing scheme whereby its approved companies are vetted, undergo regular inspections to ensure quality, and employ a locksmith with an exam based qualification.
The MLA also run the MLA Expo – Europe’s largest locksmith & security exhibition trade show & next takes place at the Telford International Centre from 6th – 8th October 2017.
Not all locksmiths are approved or members of the MLA - Master Locksmith Association, but we are.
